01About these terms
These terms apply when you use encore or buy tickets through it. encore is operated by Encore Live Ltd. By booking, you agree to these terms and to the organiser's own event conditions, which are shown on each event page.
02Our role
encore sells tickets as an agent on behalf of event organisers. The organiser is responsible for the event itself — including line-up, timings, venue safety and admission policies. Your contract for attending the event is with the organiser.
03Pricing and fees
The price shown on every event is the total price, including VAT and all mandatory fees. Any optional extras are clearly marked and never pre-selected.
Prices are set by organisers and may change before you book. The price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay.
04Booking and tickets
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email with a booking reference.
- Organisers may set a maximum number of tickets per customer to keep prices fair.
- Tickets are personal. Each one carries a unique code that can be scanned only once.
- Seats, where applicable, are held for a limited time during checkout and released if payment is not completed.
05Cancellations and refunds
Because tickets are for a specific date, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply. However:
- If an event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund of the ticket price and fees, automatically, to your original payment method.
- If an event is postponed or materially changed, you may keep your tickets or request a refund within the period stated in our notice.
- Some organisers offer refunds or exchanges in other circumstances; these are shown on the event page.
06Transfers and resale
You may transfer tickets to friends through your account where the organiser allows it. Reselling tickets above face value, or through unauthorised platforms, may result in the tickets being cancelled without refund.
07Using encore fairly
You must not use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to buy tickets, interfere with the service, or misuse other people's payment details. We may cancel bookings or suspend accounts that break these rules.
08Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Questions? Get in touch.
